In today’s post, I’ve made a listing of corporations that pay $12 an hour or more. It’s protected to say that for many individuals, $12 an hour is not quite enough money. But, it does put you over minimum wage for many US states.
Many work from home jobs don’t pay much in any respect, so I’m hopeful that this list provides you with some ideas of corporations to take a look at if $12 is the bare minimum for what you’ll be able to accept.
I’d recommend trying out this list of higher-paying work from home jobs if what’s listed on this post doesn’t give you sufficient ideas. You may see some corporations which may be familiar from the opposite post, but I’ve also made an effort to incorporate some corporations that should not on the list so it won’t be an analogous list.
And although I’ve done research here using Glassdoor and various work from home forums to seek out out of course what these corporations pay, I can not guarantee the rates since that is something that changes periodically from company to company.
Aira – Read Aira Review – US only. It is a company that hires people to do voice chats with the blind and visually impaired. The aim of that is to assist them with on a regular basis tasks. Pay is $15 hourly. Not at all times hiring.American Express – Customer Care Professionals. Anywhere within the US. 1 12 months of prior customer support experience is required, in addition to strong communication skills and problem solving skills. Pay ranges $20 – $33 / hour + advantages.
SUCCESS – Freelance Marketing Copywriter. SUCCESS Enterprises is in search of multiple freelance copywriters so as to add to its freelance author stable. The best candidate can have a proven track record of manufacturing high-quality copywriting and marketing content. Pay is $35 hourly.
BKA Content – Read BKA Content Review – search engine marketing Writers. Most US states. Have to be at a university writing level, with a solid grasp of English grammar, spelling and punctuation and talent to fulfill strict deadlines. Average hourly rate varies, but they are saying you’ll be able to expect to make around $14-21/hour depending on speed.
Verbit.ai – Legal Transcriptionist. US. Must give you the chance to transcribe a minimum of 120 minutes of audio per day. Requires a minimum of 3+ years experience as a legal transcriptionist. Compensation is $16 p/hour and can align with the candidate’s experience and skill set.

Transcript Divas – Hiring worldwide! Prior transcription experience is extremely preferred. Pay shouldn’t be specified, but their aim is to beat the common rate for medical transcriptionists working within the USA ($15 / hour).
Cardinal Health – Customer Service Representative. US. Full-time. Provide concise, quality customer support in knowledgeable and courteous manner to each internal and external customers. High School diploma with 1-2 years Customer Service experience or minimum of 2-year degree, preferred. Anticipated Salary: $15.00/hr. – $18.69/hr.
Peachjar – Customer Success Specialist. US. Have to be available 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific Time Monday through Friday. On this role, you shall be relied upon to interact with all customers through various communication channels and supply fanatical support and expertise regarding all things Peachjar to optimize the shopper experience. Competitive compensation ($20.00 – $22.00 per hour) and advantages package including Medical, Dental, Vision, STD/LTD, Worker Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Accounts, life insurance, stock options, 401(k) and more.
TELUS – Rater. US. Freelance. On the lookout for dynamic and artistic individuals who have strong communication skills and use the Web day by day. The job involves analyzing and providing feedback on text, web pages, images and other sorts of information for leading search engines like google and yahoo, using an internet tool. Pay: $12 – $13 USD per hour.
HGS – Customer Care Professionals. GA, TX, SC. 1 12 months of prior customer support/sales experience is required, in addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pay for this position is $14 / hour.
Intermedia – US and sometimes other countries. This company has regular openings for distant tech support. They pay around $18 to their work from home tech support agents.
Marco Learning – Read Marco Learning Review – Graders. Anywhere within the US. You’ll read, rating, and supply personalized feedback on middle- and high-school student writing. You will need to be a powerful author and obsessed with helping students learn. Most graders earn $12 to $14 hourly. Position shall be open again this fall!
Panda Tree – Read PandaTree Review – US and infrequently Canada. Work from home tutoring students in Spanish or Mandarin. Earn $18 to $24 hourly.
OnPoint Advocacy – Read OnPoint Advocacy Review – US only. This can be political outreach calling. While they don’t make their rate of pay public, I actually have seen some old job postings promoting it to be around $12 an hour.
Paragon Planners – Read Paragon Planners Review – They give the impression of being for people in the next US states – AZ, CA, CO, FL, ID, KY, MI, MO, NC, OH, OR, SC, TN, TX & WI. This is phone do business from home where you schedule appointments for financial wholesalers. Earn between $14 and $16 hourly depending on experience.
PrepNow – Read PrepNow Review – US only. It is a company that hires people to work from home tutoring students on the SAT, ACT, and Math. Should have experience tutoring plus a 4-year college degree. Pays between $15 and $19 hourly.
Smith.ai – Virtual Receptionists (Read Review). US and Mexico. Appears to be entry-level but should have basic skills like the power to follow directions and give you the chance to multi-task. They hire for each full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time positions. They provide flexible hours with a requirement to work one shift on Monday and a minimum of 25 hours per week. Pay starts at $15 hourly for US and $11 for Mexico.
Apartment List – Social Media Content Creator. US. You’ll create short-term video content, manage renter social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest), and facilitate external creator and influencer relationships. It is a part-time, contract position (25 hours per week), with potential to extend hours at a later date. The goal pay range for this position is $40/hr – $50/hr. This position is primarily distant, but preference shall be given to Bay Area candidates for in-person collaboration opportunities. On the lookout for individuals with a minimum of 2-3 years of social media management and/or content creation experience at a B2C brand, agency, or freelance work.
Telerecruitment – Blood Donor Recruiters. Anywhere within the US. Should have a minimum of one 12 months of outbound telemarketing or phone experience. You may also need 2 years of customer support or sales experience. A quiet workplace with a wired web connection is required. Pay ranges $13 – $16 / hour.
The ACT – Read The ACT Review – US only. Work from home scoring ACT essays. While the pay is performance-based, you’ll be able to earn $12 an hour or more.

Litcharts – Freelance Writers. Anywhere within the US. LitChartswriters can work from anywhere, and compensation varies based on the length and difficulty of the work. You will need to send in a resume with samples. In response to Glassdoor, pay probably works out to around $32 / hour.
VXI Global Solutions – Outbound Sales Reps. Several US states. Minimum 6 months of call center experience, sales experience and powerful communication skills are each required. Pay is $18 / hour + advantages.
Zirtual – Read Zirtual Review – US only. That is work from home virtual assisting. The job postings indicate the assistants who work for this company are paid 47% of their client’s monthly plans with monthly pay averaging $3000-$3500 per thirty days depending on the client mix. After 6 months of tenure, VA’s revenue split can increase to 50%.
